My Healing
My journey to this point has been anything but smooth. I've battled functional freeze, burnout, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, hormonal imbalances, severe PMS, persistent fatigue, and constant muscle pain. Struggling with self-worth and chronic stress was my norm. I pushed myself until I hit rock bottom, and my body finally forced me to listen. That's when everything changed.
I left what I once thought was my dream job and invested my last savings into a life coach program, which accelerated my healing journey. Although I've been interested in self-development for over a decade, it didn't truly click until I reached my lowest point. My story is one of overcoming challenges to find balance, peace, and fulfilment in life, but it didn't happen overnight. Healing is an ongoing journey of growth and self-discovery.
Throughout this process, I've embraced practices like inner child healing, cycle syncing, spirituality, and nurturing my nervous system. I've delved into somatic healing, manifesting, and found a supportive community. Healing my gut and finding the right foods, including fermented options, has also played a significant role.
A crucial part of my healing was learning to connect my body, mind, and spirit through movement and meditation. I've learned to move my body in ways that feel enjoyable and challenging rather than punishment, incorporating activities like stretching, shaking, dancing, yoga, pilates, boxing, gardening, and seasonal sports like skiing and surfing. Little daily rituals help me stay grounded and centred.
Another thing about me; I don't like to choose, and I usually want both options. I want to live in the city in the middle of it all, but also away from everything and everyone in a house in the forest. I want to travel, but I love being at home. I want a slow life filled with adventure. I have had to accept that I can absolutely have it all, just not at the same time. What I can do is live life to the fullest in every moment. Feel the good and the bad with all my being. Go through life with an open heart and set healthy boundaries. Be powerful and vulnerable at the same time.
